But the one method that may be overlooked today is the tried-and-true, old-fashioned hand sewing technique. As both a designer and workroom for high-end treatments, Cynthia Trygier will share with you her reasoning for choosing a particular method for individual jobs, based on fabric selection, design, time frame, efficiency, trims used, and level of quality expectations. In many cases you might be surprised that hand sewing is selected quite often to achieve the best finished product, and gluing and iron-on methods play a secondary role as basting methods. In this special class, attendees will get hands-on practice getting back to the basics and the art of hand sewing.
